listed

ok i did it. the shoes are in the SHOP. i'm i plan on working to add a few more soon.
(just as a little shop hint... choose the "shoe" category on the right to see all the new shoes)
my dear friend christy wrote a sweet post about the shoes HERE at her blog. i haven't listed those because i forgot to snap a picture of them before they went to their new owners. so hold out if you want those. the campbell shoe will debut soon.

also as a bonus for you guys... we are headed to ryan's ten year college reunion.  in honor of my old hubby, i am offering a 15% off code if you order this weekend. just type REUNION in the discount code field during the checkout process.

the catch is... i won't be around until next week to finish and ship the shoes. so the turn around would be 7-10 days.

enjoy shoe shopping! :)

things.

the daisy design has been growing and setting in roots around here. i made these for a little one who is on the way. what a fun pair of shoes she has waiting for her!

another famous Larrah set. this is my top selling girly design. it's not hard to see why... perfect with jeans or a cute little skirt for the spring weather.

i thought i would share this picture with you. the highchair is the one that i was fed in and the one i fed my baby dolls in. now i get to feed my REAL baby doll in it. sara had the great privilege of using it this past weekend when we made a super quick trip home to see the family.

sara came home with this treasure. my mom hand quilted this beautiful baby quilt for her. it has such pretty fabrics and her handwork will be treasured for many, many years. thanks GiGi!

speaking of things that are treasured (cheesy i know but...) yesterday was the year anniversary of ryan's mom passing away. and i didn't want the time to pass without saying that we miss her and think about her everyday. and the things (the treasures) that she instilled in her children will grow and continue to live on through generations and generations. what a beautiful grandma my children have.

new pants and Daisy

i have been on a mission lately. sara needs some pants. the problem with finding her pants are her thighs. this girly girl has some large thighs. she has grown out of her 9 month jeans and can barely fit into her 12 month ones. they are so tight around her thighs that she can't sit down. and really, for some unknown reason, i've avoided making her any. anyway, she needs some pants. so i decide to try old navy. my new good friend christy and her little guy, jayden went with us. i found these real cute pink stripe seersucker capri. and i think "ok 18-24mo now we're talking" ... so we try them on and have to wrestle her into them, no way will they button. so i get a 2T. a 2T for my seven month old. and sit her the floor once again to squeeze her into them. no way. they barely button. way too tight and too long. so we left with no pants a real cute shirt and a dress... i decided it was time i give it up and make my poor baby girl some pants to go with her new top.... so without further ado here are her new pants...

a brown linen with a buttery yellow ruffle...so then we run into the problem of having no matching shoes (silly "problem" right?).. so these evolved from my scrap pile this morning...

i simply adore these little guys... so many color combinations are already running through my head... i must and will make more. if you have a special "problem" outfit and need the perfect shoe, tell me about it and maybe i can help.

Daisy

Hot dogs and Hearts

i thought you might need a smile today.... because HOT DOG it's FRIDAY!!!
look at the treat my great friend katherine mailed to sara this week.... it was quite hilarious! although sara was not so amused when we put it on her.... but i had to show you....

now for the "hearts" part of the post....
over the christmas holiday my mom reminded me of some sweatshirts we made when i was younger. we used christmas fabric to make little yo-yos and sewed them down in the shape of a wreath. this memory inspired my valentine's day design... yo-yos in the shape of a heart

also in the valentine's spirit that came over me this week i made this
paper topiary.

due the increase of time that is invested when making these onesies they will be priced as $20. But the shoes are only $15 a pair! ...want some?

have a great weekend!

my favorite...

...well one of them! The newest member of the family is named in honor of a good friend Larrah, which happens to rhyme with Sara (one of my other favorite shoes). This shoe has proven itself worthy of any baby girl's wardrobe. I can pair these up with so many of Sara's outfits because of it's many colors. She wears these at least 3 or more times a week!

Larrah

A complete set I made for a new sweetie!

I also wanted to show a different version of the Sara shoe. Instead of the pink button I added a pink gingham bow with a little white button.
What do you think? Girly huh?

Sara

As a side note...
Look at who's peeking over her bedding after a nap.

What a cutie!

it's nice to meet you

Here are the newest additions to the Boy's collection. In honor of our new friends in Dallas, I'm pleased to introduce you to the Silas and Jayden shoe.
Hope you like what you see.

Jayden
denim and light orange and blue stripe

Silas
red puppy dog print and navy gingham

Over the past week I have been getting back into the rhythm of our life. (pardon my absence) Ryan, Sara and I went on a two week cross-country trek to visit our family and friends. It was a great time of reconnecting and celebrating, but it has been good to be back in our own bed and our daily routine. Although, it wasn't fun coming home to a dead Christmas tree and decorations that were begging to be put away.
During our trip we had the opportunity to take part in NEXT, a conference in Atlanta that draws young people into community and connection with other generations while equipping them for the life God has for them. It was a time of great encouragement. I walked away with many "nuggets of truth." Thanks to all who participated and thanks to Matt and Lauren for all their hard work in making NEXT happen!
I'm too tired tonight to go any further....but I have another pair of shoes I need to introduce... so be watching...Thanks to all who have ordered! I appreciate it!
